Compelled to do more than just make a statement, the attraction of advertising photography for Kitfox came from a desire to communicate a concept, and to connect with people on multiple levels.
Whether photographing fashion amidst a desert's dunes at dawn, or whilst being battered by waves on a jagged, rocky coast, capturing beauty in the controlled studio environment, or underwater in the cold mountain river, Kitfox's photographic vision is clear. From the initial concept, through to the finished work of art, his polished style is a blend of carefully constructed photographic capture, digital enhancement, and manipulation; and as a creative thinker and problem solver, Kitfox enjoys working with clients to achieve their goals in the best possible light. Kitfox practices an amphibious creative skill set, as comfortable creating imagery in an underwater setting as he is on dry land, or in any combination of the two. Kitfox is also a member of American Photographic Artists (Advertising Photographers of America), and is based out of Brooklyn, NYC.
